Trip to castle Trifels

Here are the pics of my trip to castle Trifels. The castle is located in the town of Anniweiler. It was a beautiful ride up here. We started out early in the morning. The sun was shining and there was not a cloud in the bright blue sky, the temp was in the high 70s. The road we took was very highly populated this day with msotly sport bikes. It is a wonderful, shady, windy road. Perfect for riding through the twistys. We passed through a town that has a HUGE wine barrel that is a resteraunt. The next town from that was Frankenstien. GRIN Did not get a chance to stop and get any pictures. We passed by several castle ruins. There was one that looked like it was just growing from out of the top of the mountainside!
